The Screen Actors Guild- The American Federation of TV and Radio Artists (SAG-Aftra) offers unfair fees for employing employment with the National Council for Labor Relations (NLRB) against epic games, after the company carried out NPC in Fortnite last week.
The complaint, which can be seen here, claims that over the past six months, Llama Productions (owned by epic games) has failed to bargain in good faith with SAG-Aftra video game representatives and has made “unilateral changes to the terms and conditions of employment” without making a notice to the union or the opportunity to negotiate, by using any grant sounds.
Fortnite Ai Dart Vader added last week, as a NPC character that can join or leave your Fortnite team and hold talks with players on the voice chat in the character of Daith Vader. Although Ai Darth Vader has been programmed to provide support to individuals who express that they may struggle with mental health, epic games also had to correct them immediately after being released to prevent them from dropping the F.

The character of Darther Vader was originally expressed by James Earl Jones, He passed away in September last year at the age of 93. This entertainment of artificial intelligence was implemented with the blessing of James Earl Jones, with his family saying: “James Earl felt that the Voice of Darthey Vader was inseparable from the story of the stars war, and he always wanted the fans to continue all ages in the experience.
However, the use of artificial intelligence voices at all by the Epic Games is a major problem for SAG-Aftra, given its efforts to reach an agreement on a contract for its artist in video games during the past year. The video game that performed the members of the union was about 10 months ago. The strike began specifically due to the lack of agreement on the provisions of artificial intelligence, and that 24 out of 25 proposals were confirmed by the contract by the two sides. Earlier this year, SAG-Aftra publicly participated in the details of parts of the contract that is still not approved by both sides, expressing that it is still “somewhat far from” the rulings.
In light of this, SAG-Aftra issued a statement explaining the charge of unjust work against EPIC, primarily claiming that the use of EPIC for the spontaneous organization was undermining the work of the human SAG-Aftra members who had previously or could do a functioning of the vote of the vheer through their performance. This is the statement, completely:
We celebrate the right of our organs and their property to use digital symmetrical copies and welcome the use of new techniques to allow new generations to participate in the enjoyment of these legacies and famous roles. However, we must protect our right to the terms and conditions of bargaining about the uses of sound that replaces the work of our members, including those who previously made the rhythm of Darthey Fider and a tone in video games.
Fortnite’s Signature (Llama Productions, replacing human artists with artificial intelligence technology. Unfortunately, they did this without making any notice of their intention to do this and without bargaining with us on the appropriate conditions. As such, we have provided an unfair act of work with NLRB against Llama Productions.
By providing the charge, the next step will be a review by NLRB, which is likely to follow and hear if the agency believes that the charge has an advantage, or the separation if NLRB believes that it does not do that. In the event that epic games have committed an unfair work practice, NLRB can compel them to treat the situation in different ways, such as renting a representative to record a vote for Darath Vader or remove it from the entire game, or any other penalty kick. However, these cases often take months or even years of progress, or can be settled abroad by both parties and the charge has decreased.
